WordPress Germany has started a backup-week and the initiative Pro Backup. Therewith shall be pointed out how important a regular data backup is, especially on database-based systems like WordPress is one.

For my backups I use the WordPress Database Backups plugin. At the moment I make one backup per week manually, then I store it on an extern hard disk.
