If you are an advertent reader, you might already habe recognized it: My Blog becomes bilingual. For this purpose I have installed the plugin Polyglot. Beside bilingual posts a small flag appears that opens the correspondent post in the second language.
Furthermore we have the possibility to appoint the favoured language for the entire blog in the sidebar. Unfortunately the translating of the theme, thus sidebars and so on, does not work yet, but I hope I will get it started soon. So c’mon, give your opinion!

Och, es geht eigentlich. Glaub ich kann ganz gut englisch, und wenn mir doch mal ein Wort fehlt hab ich leo.org.

ich habe deinen Blog auf der Suche nach einer Anleitung zu Polyglot gefunden. Mich würde Interessieren wie Du die Sidebar, Navigation (also Kategorien …. ) übersetzt hast !? Welche Anleitung hast du benutzt ? Über eine Antwort würde ich mich freuen !!

Hallo! Die Sidebar übersetzt man, indem man alle Textteile die übersetzt werden sollen “gettexted”. D.h. man packt sie in eine kleine php function. Eine sehr gute Anleitung dazu findest du hier.
