My recent toy is a Nintendo DS Lite, which I was able to purchase second-hand, but barely used and at a bargain price from a friend. I also got a game, namely Dr. Kawashimas brain trainer.
Initially today I was shocked when I recognized that my brain is 80 (!) years old. Okay, perhaps it was due to the DS often not understanding what I said… but to tell the truth, I was not so good at mental arithmetic as well.
However, the DS is really amazing… it has got a micro and some games are working with voice entry, and the touchpad is ingenious in any event. And the very best is: It`s pink!

Habe ich zwar nicht, aber ich finds irgendwie cool, allein was man aus der Werbung sieht. Will auch mal wissen, wie alt mein Gehirn ist. ^^
yeah the braing training game will make you feel stupid at first.
But after awhile you get can get the hang of it, but the harder settings are really difficult.
Don’t worry if you get a bad score at first, the idea of the game is to ‘train’ your brain not test it, so yeah keep at it and your score should improve. I like the DS because they started the ‘brain training’ trend, and now more games such as ‘sight training’ are comming out, I might consider buying one myself. I’ve got a PSP, but comparing the two I’d say the DS is aimed at gamers who want decent gameply while the PSP is for those who want decent graphics and more shoot-em-up games. Anyway, nice review.
i originally bought a DS for my kids but i have to say i use it more than them now
the brain training is a good little game, not sure if it actually improves your brain power but its certainly good fun trying, i give it a thumbs up anyway
My wife didnt seem to struck on her DS at first. Now she would rather leave the house and forget her cellphone than her DS lite !
Then go try neuro-nation.com … similar to nintendo DS but morea community and free of charge. good luck!
