Totally unnoticed, my rats page’s Pagerank worked it’s way on 4! To my knowledge there was no Update lately, so it must have been on 4 since some time – and I just didn’t notice it. Shame on me!
Well, but I know it now and therefore: Congrats, Shadow, Necro, Abby and Cappu!
For Tilla!
Summer in Berlin
Both of us and a pot of paint.
One year ago from now
Didn’t see each other for so long.
Don’t care when someone says
May everybody claim
That only if the other’s near
Friends can be friends.
If Germany, if Europe, Asia
May continents us part
Never will I ever forget you
Cause I luv ya so.
For you…
Friends for life, you said.
And went away.
Friends for life, I thought.
It’s over.
New friends, new life
And suddenly I’m written off.
Didn’t know, that for you
a life doesn’t mean the same.
Was in a struggle with myself.
I backed off.
Just told myself again and again
That friends do not exist.
You know about my life.
You know why.
Told you everything.
Trusted in you.
Well then?
Will never again –
not at any time -
Friends for life.
Yihaa, again I’m involved in a trnd project! This time it’s about a topic that should lie at the hearts of everyone: Our environment. As every halfway informed human being should already have realised, our beautiful planet warms up. That is called global climate warming. Sounds awesome for now: Mediterranean climate North Sea coastal? But in actual fact it should really bother us, as climate warming even causes that the ice on south- and northpole is melting. Should be clear that polarbears aren’t very happy about that.
Together with sos.msn.de, trnd now starts the project Live Earth. The biggest benefit concert of all ages takes place under this name on July 7th, 2007 in Hamburg. As lead sponsor, MSN was able to engage lots of big stars for the concert:
Artists at Live Earth amongst others:
Madonna, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Genesis, Bon Jovi, The Police, Dave Matthews Band, Beastie Boys, Smashing Pumpkins, Black Eyed Peas, Jan Delay, Juli, Silbermond, James Blunt, Fall Out Boy, Linkin Park, Kelly Clarkson and Duran Duran.

You can submit your own promise to protect the climate on the Commitment Map. I already set my leaf. You can also show on your Homepage or your Blog that you are in favour of climate protection: With this little leaf button. Feel free to copy it and just place it on your page! But please don’t direct link – spare my traffic! Here you can find some more buttons, banners and graphics.
As a project participant I was sent two hands full of buttons for sticking as well. Now I have to share them out, and that’s why I spread some of them to ten readers, five buttons for each of them. Just send me your name and adress via my contact form! Due to the postal charges I only send out throughout Germany.
Eminently I like the idea that for every participant a tree will be planted. Since Live Earth is a trnd large-scale project, that will result in a considerable forest! Might at least help a bit to score off the CO2. And I can only hope that I’ll be one of the glad elects who are permitted to test one of the energy-saving products: Greenpeace power for one year, master slave sockets, freeplay radios and shake lamps.
A few days ago I took part in Monikas birthday baton. Amongst others she raffled two Amazon coupons amounting to 50 Euros. Due to all that examination stress at the moment I had totally forgotten that, so I was thrilled to bits when I recalled my eMails this noon and found a message from Monika in my in-box.
Yeah, I have won an Amazon coupon! And I already know what I will buy with it: Pokémon Pearl (german Version), which will be released on July 27th 2007. The Pokémon fanbase is waiting for that since months, and now the moment finally nears. Thanks to Monika I will have mine in my letterbox immediately after date of publication.
Thank you, Monika! *smile*

It’s raining sort of steadily for days. Okay, sometimes it stops for a few minutes in between, but that doesn’t count. Every time I want to walk the dog its raining again. Or it just starts to rain just at the moment when I leave the house. Even Robyn doesn’t like the rain, she always runs to any tree as fast as she can, relieves herself and then wants to return promptly.
Recently I put on a skirt and my lovely thongs (with little heels!) for once because the sun was shining – and scarcely I was sitting in the bus towards Bonn when the sky got darker with every meter we drove, and when we arrived Bonn it was pouring with rain. And I had no umbrella with me!
Today I saw my first corpse. No, you didn’t misread: A real dead corpse. (Of course I don’t believe that there are living corpses… ) Unsuspectingly I’m sitting in the forensic medicine lecture, when suddenly the professor begs the front ranks to follow him towards the autopsy hall. So we stand up and trot after him honestly.
Inside the autopsy hall it smells a bit rummy, but it’s bearable. When entering, we already see a bier with a white drapery on it in the middle of the room. Under the drapery we can surmise a body. The professor puts on his gloves and we all stand around the bier and gaze at what is lying there, some of us more curiously, the others less.
The the professor pulls down the drapery carefully so that we can see the torso. The head is covered by a towel. A very thin, nearly white body is lying on the bier. Our dead person assumedly died in consequence of a malpractice, but we don’t know it certainly yet, first the autopsy has to be accomplished. We get shown the postmortem lividity and the incision in his throat for artificial respiration.
A quarter of an hour later it’s over and we return to the lecture hall. At least it wasn’t as upsetting as I had imagined. Appears to be very fragile, such a dead body, you get sort of sad and you become aware very clearly that life will end some day.
Somehow today I don’t feel like doing anything. Best I would sleep all day long. I had such a wonderful dream this night… I was mega-rich and had a lot of horses and everything you can wish for, it was so realistic! And then I wake up and everything’s down the drain. Depressing.
And now I’m sitting around here, typing this text to WordPress unmotivated. Not in the mood for going out, don’t feel like playing with my dog, having no mind to cook some food. Life sucks!
