Yes, I should have know it since yesterday, there was a scratching in my throat and I had a runny nose. This morning then I knew it: I’ve got a cold again, a really heavy one. Went to the hospital in Siegburg where they have an emergency office. Of course I forgot my 10 Euros, now I’ll have to bring it later.
I told my story to the nice doctor because you have to know the following: I get about 5-6 colds a year, at least half of them become a bronchitis, pneumonia or infection of the middle ear. I never catch a fever, instead the illness rages around and I use to be really fatally ill for about 2 weeks. That’s why my family doctor almost always prescribes antibiotics.
Well, the was nothing to hear in my lung today and even my throat didn’t look sore. The nice young doctor told me that she would give me antibiotics if I liked so, but that she’d recommend me to try some other medics first. I allowed myself to be convinced, especially because she said that I probably catched a virus and antibiotics have no efects on viruses.
So now I have to take 6 pills a day, hurray. I wonder if it will help. And till then I will have to accept that my ears and my nose are blocked up, my head hurts, my throat and my nose bite, my throat scratches like crazy, I’m coughing all the time and my throat is so full of mucus that I’m permanently throwing up. Oh, sorry for this clear description…

Ich bin seit letzten Donnerstag auch außer Gefecht gesetzt.
Ist nur eine Erkältung, aber der Husten ist so ätzend, dass ich die Nacht nur am krächzen bin, anstatt zu schlafen
Heute hat meine Ärztin mir dann doch AB verschrieben. Bis Mittwoch hab ich Zeit, mich zu erholen, dann muss ich wieder arbeiten…

Jetzt gehts so langsam wieder einigermaßen, war wie erwartet mal wieder sehr hartnäckig. Meinen Mann hab ich auch angesteckt, der musste dann auch AB nehmen. Hat gehustet wie verrückt. Jetzt schläft er weil er heute nacht nicht schlafen konnte, der arme.
Ich bin im Moment ausser Fecht gesetzt. Ich hoffe dir gehts besser.
