Having caused a lot of confusion, this baton is going to be answered today. I got it from Uwe and I’d swear that I also got it from someone else shortly before – but I can’t find the link and don’t know who it was. Incipient Alzheimer, I suppose. However, here it comes.

Do you watch TV series regularly?
Pretty much all I can find. All US crime series, Prison Break, Desperate Housewives, Lost, 4400, Brothers & Sisters, Emergency Room… I’m addicted to series. And if there’s an episode I can’t watch, I record it with OnlineTVRecorder and watch it later.

In your opinion, what constitutes a good TV series?
Dead honest? It’s american… No, kidding aside. At least it has to be thrilling. In between comical is also okay, but you can do much wrong with that. I don’t like excessive humour, “Married… with Children” for example I find absolutely terrible.

Is there a series you’d drop everything for?
Momentary that’s Prison Break in any case. It’s just too brilliant. Just as you think more nerve-racking isn’t possible, the next episode ups the ante.

Und welche geht überhaupt nicht?
“Unter uns” (German soap opera). That series is just horrible. My sister used to watch it for some time, and as she didn’t have an own TV that time, she had to watch it in my room. It was about aliens that infiltrated a street and took over all people bit by bit. They had to chew green bubble gums constantly for being able to breath. Worse just isn’t possible.

Do you buy series seasons on DVD?
Merely for my friend Sandra. I think it’s not profitable to buy a season box if the TV channels keep on rebroadcasting. If I want to have a series on DVD, I record it and burn it on DVD myself.
