One week till the day we’re all waiting for: The new volume Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be released in German. The waiting comes to an end! All those who were too lazy to read the book in English – so did I – soon can breathe again and some to know how Harrys story ends.

Suitable opportunity to sum up a few interesting Harry Potter facts once again!

1. During those 10 years Harry Potter was living at Privet Drive before he went to Hogwarts, why did nobody ever inform the youth welfare office? Did nobody realize that he was living in a cupboard?
2. Why the hell are Hogwarts students allowed to bring an owl, a cat or a toad? Who the heck wants to tote around a toad? Toads are slippery, ugly and the leave toad muck everywhere. Fie!
3. Why does Ron have a rat, when the note explicitly says “owl, cat or toad”?
4. With all the rats, toads and cats roaming around in Hogwarts all the day – how many House-Elves must Hogwarts employ to clean everything daily so that it doesn’t stink?
5. Do Warlocks also have an Aldi?
