Today I installed the plugin “A year ago“. It displays posts one year ago from the actual day inside the sidebar. I liked that a lot and wanted to have the function for my blog.
But then, after having activated the plugin, disillusion: The post titles are not filtered before displayed and so they are put out with language tags of the Language Switcher plugin, what looks quite bad. Relief: As described in the article Language Switcher WordPress Plugin, I now had to add the filter to the plugin file. Problem: Even if I translated the procedure, all plugins I use filtered the title so far, and I never had to change anything. That means: I’ve no idea how to do that. *bg*
But fortunately I’m absolutely ingenious. You could say there is so much brain in my head that it swells out of my ears. Yeah, I’m the super guru. Look at me, I’m a PHP god! I got it! After an hour of intensive search I found the part and the title of the post one year ago is now filtered. Muahuahaha, I’m so good!

Bravo!
