On Chikatze’s blog I found those funny Weblins and decided to register for testing it. A Weblin is a little Avatar you can use for chatting with other Weblins inside your browser. Somewhat reminds me of MS Chat, but simply inside the browser. The recent domain acts as chatroom, that means if there are several Weblin users on the same page, they can see each other and talk to each other.

Registererd users can choose between several animated Avatars. There is also a creation kit and you can even create your own Avatars, animated or not, and then upload and use them.

I just resized my favourite doll on the required size (maximum 100 x 100 pixels) and uploaded it. You can see my the Weblin I created that way on the left. Well, okay, it’s not animated, that makes it less spectacular – but she’s pretty.

I got several requests via mail for my theme I created for my blog and all my homepages. They’re all based on the same layout. Now I decided to release different versions of my layout as themes. Today I start with PlainWhite No.1 with a menu bar for pages below the header image and a width of 990 pixels. Subpages are not displayed!

Again and again I got mails by bloggers who use my theme. They wrote that they use widgets and that borders and background of the sidebar don’t show up. So I rewrote the theme again and now it finally works with widgets.
