Finally I got it! I switched off the flashlight last evening and then tried to take some photos – and voilà: Bully is a really talented model! Admittedly his cheek pouches werent’t fully loaded at all, but as he now preferred to be photographed than to keep on stuffing, here you got two “normal” pictures of Bully!

Bully is sitting inside his feeding dish and watching outwards.

Now he is tired of the camera and simply goes away.
Sounds mean, but it isn’t. Of course I mean that the hamster stuffs his chops! With yoghurt drops. By Vitakraft, the small ones. The diameter is about 5 or 6 millimetres.
Yesterday I tested how many yoghurt drops Little Bully can stuff into his hamster chops. And believe it or not, the little guy can stash away 13 drops before his chops are full.
It’s funny to watch him when his chops get twice wide as the whole Bully…
Recently I went to a pet shop with my friend Sandra. They just have renovated everything and so we took a look around. And then we saw that mega cute hamster. Black, red and white pied, teensy-weensy and amazingly twee. It was running about and nibbling his feed, and I fell in love with it in no time.
And what does crazy Sandra do? Goes and buys that hamster together with a cage. So we now have a hamster, and prompt I found a construction manual for a much more beautiful cage on the internet, which I will now put into practice – today we bought the wood and tomorrow we will put it together.
I will post some pics as soon as possible, when the hamster isn’t that shy anymore. By the way, his name is Bully, named after Bully Herbig, a german comedian, because the hamster is as funny as the comedian when he strolls around in his cage. He’s so cute!
Ouch! Today I was cleaning the rats’ cage and snagged my finger on a broken piece of wire. In doing so I got a serious scratch on my fingertip, there where the fingernail begins and a little into the nail. It hurt a lot, but fortunately the nail doesn’t seem to be scratched deep. Phew, what a luck!
Of course I removed the wire from the cage. Unfortunately I’ve got no patches anymore, so I had to take a tissue with a piece of sticky tape around.
My husband just found fault that there are no fishes in my pets poll. In my opinion nobody would declare fishes as his favourite pet, which I even replied then. Whereupon he pointed out – totally right – that I bought an aquarium one month after we got to know each other, ’cause I liked his one so much.
Well, okay, fishes are beautiful… but as favourite pet? After all you can’t touch them and cuddle them and such things… but you should really be able to do so with a pet, I think. Fishes are more for watching.
What do you think? Do you like fishes?
